Logging trucks are leaving the valley at an unprecedented rate 80 ? 100 a day.
Every 40 to 50 logging trucks leaving the valley would supply one local sawmill employee with work for a year. On an annual basis we are exporting 2 permanent jobs every day.
Where are these logs/jobs being exported? Are other towns processing the logs or are they being exported as Raw Logs?
The economic returns of the industry must generate greater benefit for our communities.
