NEW FOREST ACT WATCH PARTY

What will it take to protect and restore BC’s ancient forests and drinking watersheds? We’re about to find out. Join us August 5th at 7 pm Pacific time for a Zoom watch party and discussion.  The New Forest Act roadshow launched a province-wide grassroots movement to replace the existing Forest Act with a new, sustainable system. More than 600 people attended tour events in June, and we’re just getting started.   This is your invitation to join the movement! The most crucial step is coming together following through to make change happen. SIGN UP HERE FOR THE ZOOM WATCH PARTY AND DISCUSSION  Now is the time to ramp up the pressure, before the Province caves in to loggers’ demands to open provincial parks and old-growth forests for “active management” (clearcuts). Without our voices, they’ll only double down on destroying watersheds and wildlife habitat. It has to stop. The forests need us.  Please bring your ideas about implementing the New Forest Act. We’ll see you there!  Zoe, Delores, Hazel, Claire, and the Watershed Sentinel team PS – Please share this message with like-minded friends and neighbours!
Jennifer Houghton Let’s talk about forest reform strategies  Join us on Zoom Wednesday, August 5 at 7 pm to review the New Forest Act presentation and discuss strategy with campaigner Jennifer Houghton (left). The New Forest Act would protect ancient forests, restore damaged watersheds, and limit logging to sustainable levels. The question is, how will we make it the law of the land? REGISTER NOW
