Greetings all,

I am writing to give you an update as to what is happening , along with NODRA, VIWWC's project to Save our Cassidy Aquifer.

VIWWC applied for a second stage grant from West Coast Environmental Law. We were once again successful! HOOORAY!! This will enable us to carry forward with our efforts.

The RDN's lawyer, after a nudge to respond, finally did respond (attached below this writing) to our original letter to them, which is in the area below, dated April 2nd, 2022. VIWWC's lawyer is drafting a response to their letter and we will hopefully have that to share in a day or two.

Please... everyone who can...we need you at the CVRD scheduled meeting on May 12th, 6:00 p.m. at the North Oyster Community Centre, 13467- Cedar Road. The CEO from the airport will be there and they say we are able to ask questions of him...you have everything we have in this e-mail and in April 2nd's writing. Come up with your questions to take with you to this meeting. Please keep them short and to the point so that everyone who has questions to ask will be given the time to do so. We will do our best to get our lawyers letter back to the RDN's lawyer posted here in the coming days. This way, your questions asking should be very relevant.
