We have no idea how many people in the City of Nanaimo know that Council has agreed to allow a Hong Kong Company to build an AI Data Centre here in Nanaimo. This Centre is 200,000 square feet.

Read articles and find out the amount of water that is used to cool their systems! Many of the contracts do not allow a City to ever cut down on the supply of water as long as the Centre is in operation and that means, as droughts persist, the residents may have to go without water in order to feed the Data Centre. Ridiculous!
