Photopoint monitoring It is a great way to monitor what is happening with streams and rivers in your area.
Photopoint monitoring is an easy technique to visually record characteristics and changes in the environment .Volunteers are asked to take on responsibility for one site, or more if you want, which you would visit and photograph on a weekly basis. You would need a digital camera, preferably (point and shoot is fine), or a film camera. Make some notes of what you are visually seeing.
As one previous article had indicated, our largest danger is that "we forget" what areas once looked like when changes occur over time. It is important to record the changes as they occur. The pictures will also tell a huge story.
