As many of you who read our website know, Island Timberlands had refused us access into our watershed during our May 29th Forum Bus Tours unless we were prepared to have them conduct the tour. We were not prepared to do that! We did a presentation to Nanaimo City Council asking for their assistance with the refusal.
Island Timberlands has now agreed to allow us access as long as they can have a staff member on the bus for liability issues. We are in the final preparations for our forum which will now include our own Nanaimo Watershed.
