ALBERNI VALLEY WATERSHEDS 3D MODEL

Wednesday, September 17th from 9AM to Noon at Echo Center.

Trevor Wicks will be in attendance.

SOVA Public Education Committee is prepared to engage a designer and builder, Mr. Trevor Wicks of Parksville, in creating Alberni’s own 3 Dimensional Watershed Model.

The 3D model will give additional understanding and perspective to any organization within the valley which deals with education, tourism, environment, planning, water works, development, water sports, waste water, forestry, fisheries, farming, gardening - and the list goes on…

OUR PROPOSAL TO YOU:

1. Total Cost of 3D Model: $5,000.00 ($4,250.00 to raise)

2. SOVA has contributed $750 to start us off.

3. If everyone on the SOVA list serve donates a minimum of $20.00, we can cut the balance in half to$2,250.00!

4. SOVA Public Ed is willing to carry out a sponsorship sign-up program. If just 23 sponsors sign on with a minimum $100.00 donation, this amount, combined with list-serve donations, will cover all costs!

An example of the model may be viewed at Echo Center Lobby on Wed., Sept.17 with Trevor Wicks in attendance. 9a.m.-noon. Come and have a look!

Your $20.00 + donations may be made by cheque payable to SOVA and mailed to our treasurer:

The Treasurer will keep a list of all donations. If we are unable to fund the project, your donation will be returned to you.
