I spoke with my Regional District Representative today and she's bringing forward a motion at the upcoming Union of B.C. Municipalities AGM at the end of the month which intends to provide Victoria with a united statement from all B.C. Municipalities on the issue of control of our watersheds . I know Nanaimo and Port Alberni have concerns here so perhaps it's now time to get the politicians acting together on this ? I think the more encouragement these Regional District representatives get from their constituents on this issue at this time the better so perhaps you could put the word out somehow or direct people back to me if nothing else ?
The UBCM is a ripe opportunity to effect change here particularly combined with the momentum of our litigation to which incidentally , the B.C Attorney General has now delegated 2 lawyers as observers
