Earth Day 2008 Comox Valley

CVWWC was happy to participate in the 2nd annual "Earth Day Family Festival, Comox Valley".

The event was well attended this year despite the cold blowing snow. We all geared up in our winter Garb and braved the elements to show our support for our Earth.

The C.V. Drinking water guide was well received by the public, we got greatful words from folks who did not know where there water came from and were happy to know more about their water sources. The guide opened lots of discussion about proposed water metering, and the Water Watch group was thrilled to be a sounding board and place of unbiased discussion about metering and water issues. People are talking about Water and want to know more !
